Growing up an Orphan of Ul'dah, Jerial often got into fights over scraps of food, or protecting his childhood friend. This led to a problematic childhood, and the reckless adult he has grown in to.

Due to a reckless foray into a certain forbidden library, Jerial perhaps got more than he bargained for when he came into contact with a tome suspiciously similar to his own. The results of which were catastrophic to say the least. Though his magical aptitude vastly improved after this experience, the little information he did uncover left him lost and confused as he struggled to unearth the mysteries of his Tome.- __Jailhouse Rock:__
